House Mouse Challenge - Sketch

I used some Heidi Grace papers for this ATC, and a Prima flower. I added some glitter glue to the flower and edge of grey paper. I used a 'mirror image' of the sketch to get the flower into the top right corner.

Cute Card Thursday - Punches

I used a set of three Woodware flower punches for this card. Punches were never something I bought many of, put off by the cost and not sure if I'd use them enough. I expect in recent years they have lost out to the die-cutting machines. Anyway, I used some paper from a massive My Mind's Eye Bohemia pad, a Forever Friends image, and punched the flowers from three colours of Coredinations card. I assembled them using some very thin foam pads to give a little depth.

Penny Black Challenge - Recipe

I made an ATC for this challenge. The recipe was: 3 flowers, 2 papers and 1 ribbon. I used a mid-orange card for my base, and used two papers from my 7 Gypsies Capri paper pack. I added some Papermania flowers, with adhesive gems for their centres, and a nice soft velvet ribbon.

My Time To Craft - Daisies

I made an ATC for this challenge. My base card is cut from a sheet of dark purple Coredinations textured card. I put it through the Cuttlebug using the Floral Fantasy folder, then used a piece of sandpaper to distress it. The Forever Friends bear was painted using Distress Inks. I made the flower using some punches and added a word using peel-off letters.

Sketch Saturday

I used a clear stamp by Inkadinkado for the central image and three Brilliance pearlescent ink pads. I used Bazzill and Coredinations card and some silver foiled paper with an iridescent sparkle. The stamp comes from a really nice set of six bird stamps.

Penny Black Challenge - Sketch

I made a smaller card than usual as the image is quite small. I embossed a piece of pearlescent paper on the Cuttlebug and added a piece of patterned paper from a Dovecraft pack. I used some dark purple Bazzill card for the mats and a length of velvet ribbon. I put some glitter glue on the cake icing.

Tag You're It - Triangles

This week's challenge was to make a tag in the shape of a triangle. I cut this one from mountboard and then coloured it with Distress Inks. I stamped an embossed a Paper Artsy swirl round the edge, and stamped the Zettiology head in the centre. The small birds are also from Paper Artsy. I added a velvet ribbon at the top.

My Time To Craft Challenge - Sketch

Thanks to Becky for setting this sketch for us! It gave me a chance to use some of the Heidi Grace papers I bought this week, and my Willow stamp. I used some textured paper for the backing, and two Prima flowers. I coloured Willow using Distress Inks.

Cute Card Thursday - Hearts

I'd been looking forward to using this Forever Friends stamp. I took two shades of pearlescent paper and put the darker one through the Cuttlebug, using the 'Floral Fantasy' folder which has hearts in the design! I coloured the bear using Distress Inks and Sakura Stardust pens. The word is a rub-on, and the flowers come from Paper Cellar.

House Mouse Challenge - Glitter

I always find it hard to take photos of glittery things so they look glittery, but I succeeded with this one! I am really pleased with how my colouring of the picture turned out. I used Distress Inks for everything apart from the blue sky which I chalked.

Tag You're It - Snow Is Falling

This snowman is definitely having fun! I used some snowflake brads with this tag, the top right one is a felt one from Papermania.

TMTA - Stone Angels

Really pleased with this ATC. I put some pale blue vellum on the white ATC blank, and then took a piece of paper from DCWV's Old World Stack. I covered half of it in pale blue vellum, and added a pale blue organza ribbon. I matted the Crafty Individuals image onto silver mirri card, and added the Dymo words.

Cute Card Thursday - Lilac

I promise this is lilac in real life! I think Blogger changes the pictures slightly. Anyway I couldn't resist using Lizzie on this card. I used a long tall one for a change. I used iridesecnt paper for the mats, and some Scissor Sisters paper which I stamped along the edges with a Paper Artsy swirl. The flowers are by Paper Cellar.

Sketch Saturday

I have done really well today and made two challenge projects on the day they are set! For this card I used papers from an Anita's pad (these papers are really lovely) and a Forever Friends bear.
