Sketch Saturday

For this card I used a Crafty Inidviduals stamp and backing paper. Their images are very beautiful and I very much enjoy using them. The scalloped piece did not present such a problem as usual as I recently bought a pack of border embossing folders for the Cuttlebug, so I embossed both edges of the paper and cut round the shapes. I used some jewel flowers for the circles and added some gems to the fairy image.

Tag You're It - Numbers

I used a piece of dark maroon mountboard for my tag and sprayed it with some Cosmic Shimmer. I stamped on a large paper flower with a Paper Artsy stamp, and used another stamp from the same plate on a piece of cardboard. I took two grunge board numbers and inked and embossed them.

House Mouse Colour Challenge

I hope these colours are correct as I am not familiar with Stampin' Up colours. I embossed a navy ATC blank with the Cuttlebug Spots and Dots folder, and matted the image using pearlescent paper and white paper. I put two eyelets on the right and tied some olive ribbon through them.

Sketch and Stash #2

I went to a craft fair yesterday - and came home spoilt for choice as to what to use for this challenge. In the end I decided to use the Penny Black hedgehog stamp I couldn't resist (the bunny one I couldn't resist will be appearing on this blog very soon!) and the Spots and Dots Cuttlebug folder I bought (along with three others). I flipped the sketch over so the sentiment was on the left instead of right, and added some Prima flowers.

Cute Card Thursday - Create a Scene

I made a small card for this one. I think this owl is quite cute and funny. I used some papers from HOTP 'Vintage' book for this project, they are so nice I have got two books! The background stamp is by Rubber Stampede and was stamped using Ariondack Woodland pad. The railings are a Magnolia stamp, and the owl and sentiment are from a small clear set by Hero Arts. I put the scene on a piece of mottled foil card.

Tag You're It - Sugar Candy Kisses

Just a small tag for this one - but quite nice all the same and the camera managed to pick up the sparkle for a change! I used some Papermania papers for the background and glittered the icing on the cake. The cake stamp was given away with an edition of Craft Stamper last year.

ATC Holder

This is my version of the ATC holder featured in this month's Craft Stamper magazine. It was designed by Cath Wilson and I had to make it, as I love anything to do with ATCs. I used a piece of double-sided K & Co paper from their 12 x 12 Hannah pad and I stamped it with swirl stamps from a clear Bo Bunny set. I used six stamps from Crafty Individuals, the two flower ones on the front and back and the four birds on the ATCs. The word stamps are from Cat's Life Press. Many thanks to Cath for designing such a lovely project!

Cute Card Thursday - Have A Giggle

I made this card using a stamped image sent to me by Becky http://rebeccaclews.blogspot.com/ , so I don't know whose stamp this is! I coloured the two girls in pencil and then used some K & Co paper for the background, with bold mirri mats and some Prima flowers. I put some tiny little buttons in the centres of the flowers.

Sketch Saturday

I recently bought a collection of decoupage and backing papers from the Jolly Nation Pets range and thought this little chap would suit this sketch. I used textured card from the Coredinations range and some gold mirri card as well.

Penny Black Challenge - Brown and Pink

I made an ATC for this challenge, using a blank embossed with Stylised Flowers. I used glitter pens to colour the flowers, and added some brown sparkly peel-off butterflies.

House Mouse Challenge - ATC

There's nothing I enjoy more than making an ATC. I used Bazzill card for the base, embossed with Divine Swirls. I put the mouse image on some vellum with glitter dots, and added a sheer ribbon and flower gem. I painted the cottonwool ball with Cosmic Shimmer.

My Time To Craft - Mice

I was lucky enough to have this stamp for Christmas! Quite a simple ATC but looks quite good I think. The trouble is with House Mouse is that you want all the stamps!

Tag You're It - Stripey

I'm really pleased with this tag. My first day doing any real craft since I came down with a horrible virus ten days ago. I was inspired by the current issue of Craft Stamper magazine which is a recycling special. The ideas really intrigued me and I just happened to have some cardboard waiting to go to the recycling centre so I decided to recycle it myself! The 'ribs' of the cardboard make excellent stripes, and I added some colour to them with Distress Inks and a gold ink pad. I cut the butterflies on the Cuttlebug using more card and coloured them with Distress Inks. I stamped a Paper Artsy stamp on both and embossed in gold. Then I stamped a Paper Bag quote on another piece of cardboard, embossed the edges in gold and added them to the tag. A piece of hairy string completes the look!

Cute Card Thursday - Something You Had For Christmas

I bought this stamp just before Christmas so I hope it will count. What a bashful little bear! I coloured him in Conte coloured pencils (my set purchased in 1986!) and matted him on some paper that came in a Forever Friends boxed set. The background is a piece of Bazzill card put through the Cuttlebug in the Divine Swirl folder.

Sketch Saturday

This is such a lovely sketch that I had to try and get it done - it would have been sooner but I have not been well. I used a lovely Innovative Stamp Creations image for the centre of this sketch, and the papers come from Basic Grey's Urban Couture collection.

Tag You're It - New Stash

I made an Alcohol Ink background and then stamped round the edges with a Paper Artsy swirl stamp and Staz-On. The new part is the unicorn stamp, I bought a set of these last week from Joanna Sheen's sale. I added some glitter to the unicorn with some Sakura Stardust pens.

Penny Black Challenge - Embossing

I bought this stamp just before Christmas and I bought the Cuttlebug Divine Swirl embossing folder just after! The teddy is just so cute! I used a couple of Prima flowers to finish my ATC.
