Gothic Arch - Your Choice

For this Challenge this week we chose our own theme. So I decided to make a Hallowe'en arch. I cut it from burnt orange mountboard and added some Distress Inks to the edges. The stamps are clear ones from Clever Cut and Snag 'Em. The central image comes from the ATC Collection book Mixed Holiday.

Tag You're It - Sketch

I really enjoy these kind of challenges. For this tag I used papers from K & Co's McKenna pad, and stamps from the Penny Black clear set 'Critter Party'. I just love this funny dog. I added a Prima flower, some Papermania adhesive gems and some rick-rack braid to finish. I also put some 3D gloss on the rose. More challenges like this, please!

Make a Moo or Two - Autumn

This little boy is eagerly awaiting his piece of pumpkin pie. I used a Crafty Individuals leaf stamp, and two images from the ATC Collection book Mixed Holiday. I edged the Moos with dark brown ink to finish.

Some More Little Houses

I finished making my Houses for the Little House Swap I am running. Here are some of them. Of course the owls had to get in on the act again!

Two Skinnys

Or should that be Skinnies? I made these for the themes of Butterflies and Vintage. I expect you can guess which one is for which theme. It was nice to use the 'rose in Paris' stamp as I had not used it before I made that Skinny.

Think Monday Think ATC - Handwriting

Luckily I didn't have to use my own handwriting this time. I used instead a Crafty Individuals script stamp for the background, and then stamped one of their lovely bird stamps on some red paper. I stamped a Catslife Press phrase on the same paper and matted both on some gold and black swirly foil card. On the edges of the ATC I put some dark red adhesive ribbon and put some peel-off borders on top. I think this one looks quite 'plush'.

Gothic Arch - Time

I cut this arch from a piece of dark maroon-red mountboard, and stamped and embossed the word 'Time' in gold. I stamped the clockhead woman and the watches on coloured paper and added them. I rubbed round the edge of the arch with some Distress Ink.

Think Monday Think ATC - Dancing

This lovely image comes from a HOTP book of Travel images. I covered an ATC blank with shimmery silver/purple paper and attached the hula girl picture. I added the Paper Cellar flowers with a gem brad and put four adhesive stones on their right as a finishing touch.

Make a Moo or Two - European Cities

Two Moos with brayered backgrounds. For the Paris one I used some stamps and a brown ink pad. For the London one I used an old bus ticket, a faux stamp from a HOTP book, and a coin image from the same book.

Pretty

This page was made as part of my current fad for making background patterns with a single stamp. This time I used a StudioG clear stamp on a piece of mountboard I had coloured with Distress Inks. The lady comes from a Crafty Individuals book. I matted her onto gold mirri card, and added an organza ribbon threaded through gold eyelets and tied in a bow.

Cute

This is a baby peacock. It is extremely cute. So cute in fact I have put it's photo on here when I told myself I would only put on pictures of craft things. I have never seen a peacock this young before. It lives at an out-of-town shopping centre and leisure park, and was out on a stroll with it's Mum.

Houses

These are two houses I have made for a House Swap I am hosting. Having been feeling a bit 'weird' when I was making them I wondered if they are ok. I used stamps from Crafty Individuals, Paper Artsy and Tuscan Rose, gold glitter glue, some Prima flowers and paper from a Papermania pad. Perhaps someone can assure me these are ok?

Birthday Card

I made this for a member of a birthday list I belong to. Now I know the lady has received the card I can put it on here! I used a cream card blank and stamped a background pattern using a Paper Artsy Squiggly Ink swirl stamp and Ariondack Woodland Ink pad. I stamped the frame using the same pad (this is also a Paper Artsy stamp) and matted it onto gold card. The flower picture comes from a Crafty Individuals book. I put a peel-off on patterned paper and matted that on gold card too. I hope the recipient liked it!
