Sunday Stampers Challenge - Green

Green is not a colour I use a lot of, so it was nice to do something different with this theme. This ATC uses a hammered card background with Peeled Paint and Pine Needles Distress Inks blended and then spritzed. I dried it with a heat gun, then stamped a border with a set of Habico tapestry stamps. The centre image is from Catslife Press. I used Rainbow inks for the stamping. I am very pleased with this.

My Time To Craft Challenge - Sparkle

Better late than never, here is my entry for last week's challenge. I used a set of Habico tapestry stamps for this ATC and a daisy stamp designed by Bizzy Bren. I added some glitter glue to the tapestry-stamped border for a delicate touch of sparkle.

Cute 'n' Cuddly Fat Book Pages

These have been made for the first Fat Book list I have joined so I hope they will be alright. Each picture is decoupage. I have used various papers, ribbons, peel-off borders and corners, etc, to decorate but not too much as I didn't want to detract from the central image.

Flower Tags

These tags are for March's Hel's Angels swap. Due to a lack of suitable floral stamps I have had to put some paper flowers on two tags. The tapestry stamp set I used is by Stamps Away and the rose stamps came from a QVC TSV that I suspect rather a lot of us bought.

My Time To Craft Challenge - Quotes and Sayings

These two ATCs are made using Distress Inks spritzed and then dried with a heat gun. The stamps I used are from Catslife Press. I put some glitter on the second one but it doesn't show up in the picture, sadly.

Sunday Stampers Challenge - Laydees

Two efforts for this week's challenge ( I want to make more! ) using a Paper Artsy stamp. The first was distressed by applying Distress Inks to a plastic mat and spritzing them, then rubbing the card in the resulting mess...er that should read interesting combination of colours! I stamped the lady and then put an eyelet in the top right corner and tied some lace through it. The second one uses a piece of plain cream mountboard. I stamped the lady in three colours and then added the peel-off corners and borders. I love this stamp!

Easter Creations

I made the card using some handmade paper and this month's free stamp from Craft Stamper. I stamped the image twice on each colour of paper and then 3D'd the ducks. I added some 3D gloss and gold metallic pen to them too. I used some brads in contrasting colours.
The ATC was made using white hammered card coloured with Distress Inks. The sticker is by Papermania and I was pleased to see so many of their Easter embellishments had a religious theme. I think the rabbits and bird in front of the crosses are a nice touch.

My First Grungeboard ATC

This is my first piece of work using Grungeboard, so please be kind. I made this ATC for Florrie's Challenge on Craft Swap Forum, the theme was The Colour Purple. I rubbed some Dusty Concord Distress Ink over the Grungeboard, then roughened the edges with some sandpaper, and rubbed in some Black Soot Distress Ink. Using Milled Lavender and Black Soot I distressed the chipboard flower and added a purple gem. I made the words on my Dymo and put on a couple of brads. I thought the end result looked as if it had been under an old car for a few days!

My Time To Craft Challenge - Tickled Pink

This is very pink and feminine, for this week's My Time To Craft challenge. I used a white hammered card ATC blank, coloured it with Worn Lipstick Distress Ink, and added some 3d stickers and an organza ribbon.

Sunday Stampers Challenge - Oriental

This theme is difficult for me if the images must come from a stamp - these four corner stamps are the only oriental ones I have. I thought that butterflies are often present on oriental craft papers so this ATC might be acceptable. It has turned out a lot better than I thought it would.

A Smart Gent

This distressed ATV does not use any stamps. The mountboard background was inked with Distress Inks. The papers and gent image come from Making Cards for Men magazine and the edges were inked with Distress Inks. The imitation coins were hung on brown fibres and threaded through red and brown eyelets. I don't know who made the coins, unfortunately.

Hidden Depths

A challenge from Craft Swap Forum, this was to create a piece of work where the outside was made using different techniques to the inside, and where there should be a contrast in styles. The theme was Springtime. I inked the outside using Peeled Paint Distress Ink and added gold peel-offs to represent starting work in the garden for the new season. The inside has been covered with a Papermania patterned paper. I matted a Whispers tree stamped image onto gold mirri card and added glitter to the leaves. I put two paper flowers with adhesive gem centres underneath. I have tied it closed with a pale cream sheer ribbon.

Playtime Skinny

Craft Swap Forum's first Skinny challenge has the theme of Playtime. I thought this image from the ATC Collection book Silhouettes was ideal. I mounted it on cream paper marbled with gold and added some cream satin ribbon edged with gold. The base card is textured mountboard.

Caribbean Moo

The first Craft Swap Forum Moo challenge was to create something within the theme of the Caribbean. I found this rather tricky so hope this cheerful parrot is acceptable. He comes from HOTP's Travel boook of images. I added some paper flowers and adhesive gems. The background is Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink and some glitter glue spread thinly across the surface.

My Time To Craft Challenge - Flower Power

This ATC was made using a piece of dusky lilac mountboard, and paper and glitter ribbon from Dovecraft. I also used some flower brads and peel-off letters.

Spring ATC Wallet

This ATC wallet and contents are decorated using the Papermania Spring paper range. I also put some of the matching dome stickers on the ATCs.

Sunday Stampers Challenge - Men

Being somewhat limited in the kind of stamps I have, this project with the theme 'Men' proved a bit of a challenge to find a suitable stamp! I hope this one will be acceptable as it has the Three Wise Men on it. I stamped the image and embossed it with clear powder, cut it out and embossed the edges with pale gold, and ran a gold pen along the sides. I fixed it to a piece of orange mountboard and added the stars and borders.

My Time To Craft Challenge - Wings

A late entry for this week's challenge! I used an alcohol inked background with a Crafty Individuals image, some words made on my Dymo and some Papermania iridescent crystal-set brads.

A Couple of Skinnys

These are Skinnys and I was inspired after seeing some on Lesleygee's Blog. The first one uses Crafty Individuals stamps and image, plus some real postage stamps from an appropriate era. The second features a stamped image from Creative Stamping, plus some adhesive gems. I used a textured mountboard and Distress Inks for both projects.

Two Sets of Moos

These are Moos, and after seeing some on Lesleygee's and Daisy's Blogs I decided to have a go as I love trying new things. I'm quite pleased with these two pairs. The Catslife Press 'domino' stamps seemed made for this shape and size project.
