My Time To Craft Challenge - Recipe

The recipe was '1 ribbon, 1 flower, 2 buttons and some glitter'. I decided to make a Skinny in the Vintage theme. I covered the base in paper from the pad I used on the Moos below, and placed an adhesive braid threaded with pink satin ribbon down the right-hand side. I added a Paper Cellar flower and used one of the buttons as a centre. I stamped the Crafty Individuals lady on another piece from the paper pad and matted her on a piece of glitter card. To finish I attached a Tim Holtz Doo-dad word and the second button beside it.

Make a Moo or Two - Flowers

Instead of making a pair of Moos as I usually do, this time I decided to make two different to each other. They both have backing paper from the Papermania pad 'Nostalgia Warm'. The house stamp is from Dovecraft and designed by Kolette Hall. I like this quirky image a lot. I added some Prima flowers and some adhesive gems. For the second one I used some clear stamps by Dovecraft, these are designed by Alison Wong. I added a touch of glitter glue to two of the flowers.

Gothic Arch - Renaissance

I used some paper printed with suitable writing as a background, then covered them with a piece of very pale brown vellum to tone the colours down. I stamped the Cherry Pie Leonardo da Vinci image on a piece of brown paper, tore the edges and then rubbed some Distress Ink along them. The gold cherub is made by Paper Artsy.

Fab Friday - Flower Chains

For this ATC I used a turquoise ATC blank, and stamped a chain of daisies using a Studio G clear stamp. I used papers from the HOTP book 'Vintage' for the butterflies. The larger is a Crafty Individuals stamp, the smaller from Tuscan Rose. I edged the card with some black ink and curled the butterflies wings a little to give a 3D look.

Tag You're It - Christmas

This is a 3" x 6" tag. The papers I used come from a Papermania 8" x 8" book from last Christmas. I love the trees. I covered the tag in green paper then added the patterned ones. I cut some strips of glittery stuff from a peel-off sheet and placed it on the edges of the papers. Then I took three epoxy stickers from the same range, put them on white paper, cut them out and added them to the tag. I put some glitter glue on the snowflakes for a final touch.

My First House Mouse

I have not made anything with this yet, I just stamped and coloured it in with some watercolour pencils. I love these mice.

Vintage Tag

This tag is made from the August Tag Swap on Craft Swap Forum. The tag is from K & Co's Margo tag book. I stamped the row of buttons from a Paper Artsy Buttons plate, and then added Vintage Morsels in various colours. The lady's head I stamped separately and coloured in. She is from a Hero Arts set. I threaded four sheer ribbons through the top.

There's An Owl In My House

I can't get enough of these owls. Here they are again, posing on the Magnolia railing. The house is cut from Grungeboard and I decorated the reverse for a change. I stamped, coloured and cut out the two smaller owls, whilst the one in the window is just coloured. The moon stamp comes from a Paper Artsy Electic plate and the stars are from Papermania Adhesive Stone sets.

Gothic Arch - Royalty and Crowns

This lady look dignified enough to have been royalty I think. I covered the arch with paper from K & Co's Maddison 6x6 pad. The image is from a Paper Artsy Wings plate. I cut it out and matted it on some pale blue vellum with a torn edge. The crown is cut from Grungeboard. I coloured it with a purple pen, embossed it twice with clear powder and then with holographic. I am really pleased with the result.

Think Monday Think ATC - Dogs

I thought this little girl and her puppy both looked a bit sad. I hope they weren't really. Makes you wonder when you see old photos like this who they were and what their lives were like.
This is quite a simple ATC, I cut the photo and wording from the ATC Collection book 'Pets' and put them on a cream ATC blank. The border is stamped with a clear stamp from Studio G.

My Time To Craft Challenge - Cats

This pretty kitty is certainly looking pleased with her new home! I covered this house in some Sara paper and then stamped the Pink Cat Studio image in purple ink and then embossed with holographic powder. I added the flowers (from the same set of stamps) and then attached a Paper Cellar paper flower with a Papermania glitter brad. A bit different from my usual houses!

Make a Moo or Two - Wheels

These two children are certainly mobile! I made the backgrounds with Distress Inks, and stamped part of some Tuscan Rose images. I added a couple of Tim Holtz's Doo-dads and a piece of velvet ribbon.

Make a Moo or Two - Schooldays

I have to say my own schooldays were not very happy so I hope this boy and girl fared better! I rubbed some Dusty Concord Distress Ink round the edges of two Moos and then stamped the images (all from Paper Artsy) and added the 'stamps'. These come from a HOTP book of Labels and Posters.

Arty Girlz Challenge - Vintage

This is one of my favourite themes. I made a Skinny and covered it with paper from a K & Co pad. I stamped the Crafty Individuals image on another paper from this pad and added some Papermania adhesive gems and pearls, and a little glitter glue to the lacy part of the image. I mounted it on some silver mirri card. I put some tiny dots of glitter glue on the flowers below the image, and then attached some Paper Cellar and Prima flowers with a Papermania jewel brad. This is my first time to enter this challenge so I hope what I have made is ok.

Tag You're It - Faux Postage

I cut a tag 3"x 6" from a piece of cream card and smudged some Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink round the edges. Then I added some paper taken from a K & Co Life's Journey pad, and stamped a Crafty Individuals postmark round the edges. Using another two of their stamps I added the ladies. They are stamped on textured cream paper and then mounted on gold mirri card. I put a length of cream lace at the top of the tag to complete the vintage look.

My Time To Craft Challenge - Christmas

This is the first Christmas card I've made this year. I used a Crafty Individuals stamp for the main image, and coloured it using watercolour pens. I matted it on some gold foiled card with a leaf pattern, and green handmade paper. The red paper is handmade too and embossed with flowers. I added a gold peel-off greeting and some glitter glue to the Christmas tree.

Gothic Arch - Shades of White

Gosh this was tricky! However once I found the pictures of the ladies in the ATC Collection book 'Sewing' I was off and running. I cut out a couple of buttons and a buckle from the same book, added some lace and real, old buttons from my collection, and I was quite satisfied with the result.

4 x 4 Friday Challenge - Quotes

These stamps by Paper Artsy are my favourites at the moment. The backing paper is from a K & Co Life's Journey pad. I stamped the images using Ariondack 'Woodland' ink pad on cream card and cut them out. I stamped the quote directly on the paper.

Make a Moo or Two - Music

This was quite a challenge for me to find suitable images for this project. I found some paper (no idea who by) with music printed on it. I attached it to the Moo blanks and then rubbed some Walnut Stain Distress Ink round the edges. I found the music-related images in the HOTP book 'Masculine'.

Think Monday Think ATC - Turquoise

This lovely paper comes from a HOTP book called 'Vintage', it's full of really beautiful papers and tags and other bits. The stamps I used are from Crafty Individuals. I added some Papermania Adhesive stones as a finishing touch.

Tag You're It - Black, Lime and Teal

For the tag I used paper from K & Co's Maddison 6 x6 pad. I cut some strips of black card and put some Anita's Sticky Ribbon on them. I don't know who made the paper flowers, sadly, I wish I did. I attached them with Papermania brads. The tag is 3" x 6".
